"Supersoul" is an original, written and performed while Dilana was a contestant on Rock Star: Supernova as a reaction to the negative backlash from fans after producers revealed she gave forthcoming responses about her competitors during a staged press interview. On November 28, 2006, it was released with "Roxanne", as a B-side track, exclusively on digital download websites such as iTunes and MySpace (through Snocap). It was originally intended to be the first single from her upcoming album Inside Out, which was released on November 17, 2009.
